Hi, my name is Lex! The creator of Flex Fitness.

I'm an online fitness coach who's main goal is to help others find their joy in being active and living a healthy lifestyle.

ABOUT ME.

Alexia Victoria McDonald

Howdy ya'll! My name's Lexi and I'm a fitness enthusiast who has had a deep love of being active for as long as I can remember. I'm sure we can all remember pre-covid/lockdown days where everyone was twiddling their thumbs, not really knowing what to do. That was me too! I wasn't actively pursuing a healthy lifestyle and never had a plan to my workouts. It all started during lockdown where I really decided to set up a training plan for myself. It gave me something to work towards and I was all for it. I started training for my very first 1/2 marathon and after just 4 months, I ran my first "virtual" race, and then followed it up less than a year later with another, and another...and another. I was so excited to have something to work towards and felt so accomplished. In addition to my new-found love for running, I started lifting weights again. I didn't know I could enjoy something more than running, but there I was, being known as "that gym girl" to all of my friends. Seeing myself get stronger was motivating in itself. I started writing my own training plans, gave advice to friends starting up in the gym, became a certified trainer, started working at a group fitness gym called F45 (still there to this day), and kept trying to be a positive light in the fitness world to those who needed just that little bit of encouragement. 

 

I hope that if you're reading this it's because you're curious about what it takes to be the best version of yourself. I'm here to tell you that working on your health, strength, and lifestyle choices is a great way to start! Let me be your fitness buddy and we can get better together.
